You can try some demo-versions of softwares like ACDSee and the likes and see if any of their generic built in drivers work. I know the ACDSee pro version has that exclusively to prolong usable life of older scanners. Interestingly I have one of those exact scanners sitting in my closet, but I also do not have Windows 7. I'll try it on my Vista x64 later, but I think Vista will work with some 32-bit drivers as well, so it might not be an interesting test.
